Conferences: Building a Restorative Cultural Through an MTSS Lens &

Shifting Mindsets and Practice in Promotion of Positive Student Outcomes

Participants will identify the essential components of building a restorative school culture and the implications this has on educator efficacy and student achievement. They will utilize models that support strong systems for implementation while cultivating mindsets that support adaptive change toward restorative practices. Participants will acknowledge the components of restorative practices that are integrated throughout an MTSS Framework.

Participants will develop an understanding of the levers of SEL implementation. They will review a model of shifting staff and student mindsets in promotion of belonging at school and will develop an understanding of the role of restorative approaches in addressing student discipline and sense of belonging.
