The ability to regulate attention, energy, emotion, and behavior are crucial to the learning process. Continued regulation throughout the school day can be challenging, and students can all benefit from built-in opportunities to regroup and regain balance. This workshop will explore planned behavior vs. reactive behavior, the role the brain plays in regulation, and strategies that can be implemented in the classroom to promote ongoing regulation.
