Julie B. Cullen, LICSW, Ed.M.

When considering the development of our classroom environments, sensory input and impact is an important piece of the puzzle. From furniture set up, to bulletin boards, to how students move throughout the room, our sensory system plays a role in the ability to remain regulated and feel safe. This workshop will review different sensory systems to consider, and offer strategies that can be implemented in the classroom that utilize these systems to promote safety, regulation, and connection.
