Patric Barbieri, M.Ed., Consultant

We all want to create a positive culture in our work environments. We want our employees to be happy, productive and have a purpose in their jobs. What are we currently doing to build culture? What actions have we taken? Is it a priority? How much time do we spend working on our culture vs. focusing on our never ending to-do list ? Do we get lost, overwhelmed, or avoid acting because we are not sure what to do, so we let our “busyness” take us away from what we really should prioritize? Are we aware of what is going on around us?

In this first session, we will discuss real-life examples of different cultures. We will talk about inspiration and models of cultures we aspire to create. Our work culture is always going to be the most challenging part of our job. We never “arrive” to a place where we don’t have to spend time on building culture anymore. It is a continuous process of taking the right actions at the right time.
