In this session, participants will predominantly examine the self-awareness and mindfulness domains of self-care and how it pertains to their classroom settings. We will also learn several calming breathing practices and explore the nervous system. Cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness practice as an educator is critical for student success. Keeping personal strengths and weaknesses in mind, participants will have time to reflect on their routines. Ideally, participants should take all 5 workshops to maximum learning potential on this important topic.
