REMOTE WORKSHOP- Supporting the Mental Health of Yourself, Your Students and Families During the COVID-19 Times

This workshop will cover basic, science backed self-care and stress management tips for ourselves, our students and communities in times of crisis. From the individual to the system, we will be exploring the best practices for maintaining resilience in challenging times.

  • After you register for this workshop, you will receive an email confirmation within 10 minutes. if you do not receive an email confirmation, email Lauren at lauren@mpyinc.org and she will assist you.
  • Webinar registration will close 24 hours before each workshop. You will receive the link to access the webinar the night before.
  • PDP/CEU requests must be emailed to Sydney at  sydney@mpyinc.org AFTER each webinar. The full 6 character code provided throughout each webinar must be included on each request form.  Make sure you have completed at least 5 webinars before submitting your PDP request forms.
  • You must have Adobe Acrobat Pro downloaded on your computer if you want a fillable form. Otherwise you must scan the documents.
  • If you need a Certificate of Attendance, please email Sydney at sydney@mpyinc.org.
  • All certificates will be emailed at the end of the school year.

Membership Information
Member rates for MPY events are available to current employees of member organizations. Public school memberships include police and fire personnel. Former and retired employees, members of committees including but not limited to PTO/PTA, PAC, School Improvement Councils, Health Councils, Drug/Alcohol Councils and school volunteers are not considered MPY members.

PDPs and CEUs
PDPs are offered for all MPY professional development conferences. PDPs are issued for a minimum of 10 hours. Any combination of events an individual attends will be used to accumulate PDPs. They will not have to be linked, as previously required.
PDPs certificates will be issued at the end of the school year for all MPY conferences an individual attends during this school year. PDPs can only be issued to participants who have attended the events and submitted the appropriate paperwork. PDP certificates will be emailed to attendees.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for clinical staff, upon approval from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association, Inc. (MaMHCA). Approval is granted by the NASW and MaMHCA separately for each event. Event participants may request CEUs by filling out the appropriate paperwork.
