NEW - School Safety: Keeping Students, Staff, and Schools Safe
Presented by an experienced law enforcement professional with expertise in school safety, this workshop highlights the role students, staff, and parents play in preventing school violence. It is important that school buildings be made as physically safe as possible, but fostering a climate of emotional support and inclusivity is critically important. Preventive strategies to avert a threat to school safety and how to respond to active school threats will be explored.
