How to Bring Mindfulness into Your Culture: Session 3
Speaker: Patric Barbieri, M.Ed., Executive Director LABBB Collaborative
March 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 2021
If our world, communities, work environments, and families are part of a mindful culture they are simply more aware, they take the right action at the right time for the health of everyone who is part of these cultures. We don’t need to sit in the full lotus or sit and meditate to create a mindful culture. They also have leaders who create environments where we can pause, reflect, support each other, and encourage everyone to slow down without feeling guilty. In this workshop, you will learn about models of mindful cultures and the essential activities that lead to building them.
Attendees must register for and participate in all 5 one-hour webinar sessions. A code will given out during each session for accountability purposes. Please hold onto all 5 codes- you will enter them into the PDP/CEU forms. Forms must be completed after the 5th session. PDP/CEU forms are available on the page of the 5th session. You will receive your certificates at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
Most MPY webinars are available to ONLY current employees of member districts and organizations. Public school memberships include police and fire personnel. Former and retired employees, members of committees including but not limited to PTO/PTA, PAC, School Improvement Councils, Health Councils, Drug/Alcohol Councils and school volunteers are not considered MPY members.

PDPs certificates will be issued at the end of the school year for all MPY webinars an individual attends during this school year. PDPs can only be issued to participants who have attended the webinars and submitted the appropriate paperwork. PDP certificates will be emailed to attendees at the end of the school year.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for clinical staff from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association, Inc. (MaMHCA).
