Description:
With so much uncertainty and the likelihood of many changes over time, 2020-21 promises to be a complex and challenging school year for students, families, and school/district staff alike. In this environment it can be easy to lose sight of the need for comprehensive, effective non-academic supports for the whole school community, and especially for those negatively affected by social and educational inequities including structural racism. This interactive professional learning series will focus on both broad concepts and specific strategies that school leaders and staff can use to work to ensure that everyone in the school community is cared for, sustained, and able to strive for excellence.
Attendees must participate in all 5 two-hour webinar sessions. PDP/CEU forms must be completed after the 5th session. PDP/CEU forms are available on the page of the 5th session. You will receive your certificates at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
