Speaker: Alex Hirshberg, Psy.D., Hirshberg Behavioral Services, LLC
Session 2: May 11, 2022, 3:30 - 5:30 pm
Schools are required every day to meet the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of each child in the district. This enormous responsibility requires an efficient and effective approach to adequately address. Changing systems to meet these needs can be difficult; many personnel are being asked to perform tasks that are outside of their comfort zone. This webinar reviews comprehensive school mental health systems that need to be developed and lays out an approach for improving buy-in and best practice adoption.
About the Speaker
Alex Hirshberg, Psy.D., is the founder and executive director of Hirshberg Behavioral Health Services, LLC in Hadley, Massachusetts. Dr. Hirshberg is a clinical psychologist who provides behavioral consultation, professional development, and psychological assessment services to schools across Massachusetts. He also has a small outpatient therapy practice focused on using Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with anxiety and mood disorders. His interest areas include Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in schools, trauma informed practices, and developing in-district social-emotional programs.

Please hold onto both codes- you will enter them into one PDP and/or CEU form, which are available on the Request Forms page on MPY's website.
