Webinar Description
Tension and conflict in the workplace are inevitable. In this webinar, Personal and Professional Development Coach Muadi B. Dibinga will identify the most common ways we invite drama and conflict in the workplace and how to diffuse toxicity and navigate disputes when they arise. Participants will have the opportunity to receive coaching in real-time (as time allows) and resources to enable them to continue to practice the art of transformative communication in the workplace and beyond.  

About the Speaker
Muadi is an organizational consultant and life coach specializing in providing women and men with tools to transform their lives. Before launching her company, she served as the first associate director of Citizens for Safety (Boston, MA), the first associate director for the Southern Center for Human Rights (Atlanta, GA), and the City Bar Fund's Development Manager. She was also an Adjunct Professor at New York University's Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising and Temple University's International Nonprofit Training and Leadership (INTL) program. Her current and past consulting clients include EdVestors/Youth Summer Arts Internship Program, OrigiNation Cultural Arts Center, METCO, Partners in Health, Harvard University/Phillips Brooks House Association, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Roxbury Youth Workers Alliance, Project Hip Hop, Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiatives and TJX Companies, Inc. Membership Information
Most MPY webinars are available to ONLY current staff from member districts and organizations. Public school memberships include police and fire personnel. Former and retired employees and members of committees, including but not limited to, PTO/PTA, PAC, School Improvement Councils, Health Councils, Drug/Alcohol Councils, and school volunteers, are not considered MPY members.

PDPs and CEUs
MPY is an approved Professional Development Provider through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (F20180079 provider number). Professional Development Points (PDPs) are offered for all MPY professional development webinars. PDPs are issued for a minimum of 10 hours of training.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for clinical staff from the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association, Inc. (MaMHCA). The NASW and the MaMHCA approves each event. Event participants may request CEUs by filling out the request form above. 

Requests for PDPs and CEUs must be submitted within 8 days of the webinar. PDPs and CEUs will only be issued to participants who have attended the webinar(s) and submitted the appropriate paperwork within 8 days of the webinar, with accurate accountability codes. 

PDP and CEU certificates will be emailed to attendees at the end of the school year.
