Childhood irritability can range from developmentally normative to very concerning and quality-of-life interfering. Pervasive childhood irritability can often be related to a host of other challenges including emotional and behavioral challenges. Further, it can incite strong reactions in those who care for them, understandably. Learners viewing this presentation should be able to leave feeling like they have an improved understanding of childhood irritability, as well as practical and effective strategies for staying effective and supportive in the context of childhood irritability.
