The Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth (MPY) is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring a conference on promoting resiliency in non-binary and LGBTQ students.

WHAT:
This interactive conference will focus on fostering resiliency in non-binary and LGBTQ students by highlighting laws, policies, inclusive curriculum and best practices to support non-binary and LGBTQ students.
Students, parents, and educators will share their experiences about how to successfully navigate this terrain. This conference will foster a deeper understanding of gender identity and expression.
The conference will also highlight strategies to promote healthy family engagement practices.
“Creating safe spaces for non-binary and LBGTQ students to thrive and learn in schools is an essential aspect of inclusionary practices,” said Daniels. “This conference features information and guidance from Massachusetts-based experts. Including students and parents with real life experiences will enhance understanding of successful practices which build resilience.”
