REGISTRATION CLOSED.
Speaker
John Doherty, Ed.D.
Description
The safety and well-being of our students is our number one priority in schools. All too often, however, students are placed in unsafe situations or have their civil rights compromised when schools do not follow laws, policies, and procedures to keep our students safe. In this series, we will discuss different areas of potential liability through the lens of an educator. Through case studies, scenarios, and practical experiences we will focus on how school districts and schools can put policies, training, and supervision in place that will minimize the risk of student injury, or a student being denied their civil rights.
To receive PDPs and CEUs, participants must attend all 5 sessions and successfully pass a quiz following Session 5. Following the live webinar, registrants will be emailed a link to view the recorded webinar. The recording will be made available for 7 days after each session.
