Description

Join us for a transformative workshop that celebrates the concept of self-care as an empowering tool, rather than just a buzzword. We believe that caring for oneself is a sign of strength, enabling educational professionals to prevent burnout, manage stress, and overcome anxiety. Together, we will explore innovative ways to foster a compassionate community within educational organizations. In this webinar series, we will address vicarious trauma and resilience through sharing our experiences and supporting each other. Let’s embark on a journey of uplifting growth, where we honor the invaluable contributions of educators and nurture their well-being.

To receive PDPs and CEUs, participants must attend all 5 sessions and successfully pass a quiz following Session 5. Following the live webinar, registrants will be emailed a link to view the recorded webinar. The recording will be made available for 7 days after each session.

During this uplifting session, we will discuss conventional approaches to self-care and how best to tailor it to each individual’s needs. Participants will gain a greater understanding of how to pave the way for a more effective and personalized self-care journey. Together, we will explore captivating topics, including the PQOL Scale, which offers insights into measuring and enhancing life satisfaction. We will also discuss the differences between burnout, compassion fatigue, and compassion satisfaction. Throughout our exploration, we will be inspired by the wisdom of renowned expert Dr. Bruce Perry, who provides valuable references and insights to guide us on this transformative path. By the end of this session, educators and administrators will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to craft self-care practices that truly work for them, fostering a culture of well-being and fulfillment in their lives. Let’s embark on this uplifting journey together!

Fear, anxiety, overwhelm, and stress are distinct emotions, each serving a purpose in our lives. By acknowledging their individual roles, educators can gain profound insights into their origins and underlying needs. Let’s come together to break free from the common pitfall of treating these emotions as interchangeable. Instead, we will embrace their differences and harness the power they hold. By the end of this uplifting session, educators will have the tools they need to navigate their emotions with grace and resilience, creating a positive impact on their well-being and fostering an environment of emotional intelligence and understanding. Join us as we celebrate the rich tapestry of emotions and harness their transformative potential for personal growth and fulfillment.

Join us for a session filled with optimism and growth as we explore how to address the unique needs behind each emotion with compassion and effectiveness. We will delve into the fascinating realm of emotions, uncovering the reasons behind their short-term appeal and long-term impact. By gaining a deeper understanding of these nuances, we can pave the way for more positive and lasting results in our lives. Participants will be equipped with tangible ideas and practical tasks that can be implemented right away. These actionable insights will enable us to foster emotional resilience and well-being in ourselves and those around us. You will leave this session with newfound clarity and empowering strategies to embark on a journey of personal growth and fulfillment. Together, we can build a brighter future, one filled with compassion and understanding for the diverse spectrum of human emotions.

Congratulations on gaining a deeper understanding of distinct emotions and their significance! In this session, we will take this knowledge to the next level, by focusing on the ways individuals can care for themselves. By paying attention to our inner world, we can choose personalized solutions that truly resonate with our well-being. Empower yourself and those around you with the gift of self-care, creating a harmonious and thriving environment for everyone. Participants will leave with practical tools and techniques that they can apply immediately in their personal and professional life. Together, we can make a positive impact and inspire others to embrace their unique journey towards personal well-being.

As we explored in the first two sessions, the power of descriptive words allows organizations to chart a positive course. By acknowledging and addressing these emotions head-on, groups can collectively regulate themselves with practices that are trauma-sensitive and centered around healing. This session will delve into how these practices can be seamlessly integrated and will explore the transformative potential of climate surveys when used to gather feedback on emotions. By taking a more targeted approach to meet human needs, we can make a positive impact on well-being and foster an environment of growth and support.

Together, let’s celebrate successes and draw inspiration from them. We have the power to create nurturing communities where emotional fluency thrives, and where individuals and organizations in education can flourish. With dedication and understanding, we can make it happen!
