Speaker

Russ Terry, Life Coach

Description

Having a self-wish isn’t selfish! – Often in life, especially for educators, developing themselves does not get prioritized. Through this webinar series, you will assess your current “scores” in areas like self-care and time management. Inspired by this, you will then learn valuable methods to better live your best life, while still navigating your current responsibilities.

To receive PDPs and CEUs, participants must attend all 5 sessions and successfully pass a quiz following Session 5. Following the live webinar, registrants will be emailed a link to view the recorded webinar. The recording will be made available for 7 days after each session. If you are not eligible for PDPs and/or CEUs, you may apply for a Certificate of Attendance.

In this session, you will learn the various levels of figurative energy – what someone who is experiencing that energy is doing and feeling. You will also participate in exercises in which you will come up with examples of this in your own life. If we know what our “triggers” are for the bad stuff, we get a raised level of consciousness that can help us reduce or even eliminate those situations. Alternatively, by becoming aware of our highest figurative energy experiences, we can plan to have more of that in our lives.

Our intimate relationship with ourselves is the most important of all the relationships in our life, yet we often don’t put ourselves first AND sometimes we speak negatively about ourselves. In this session, you will assess how you treat yourself, where you rank on your own priorities list, and of course come up with a plan to improve that. You will also learn the most common way people engage in negative self-talk AND how to change it.

Russ Terry has been documenting a different expression of gratitude every day for ALMOST ELEVEN YEARS, since 12/10/12. These almost 4,000 straight days of being grateful have had an infinitely positive impact on his life. In this session, he’ll teach you how you can use gratitude to improve your life too. As a result of attending, you will articulate up to 20 unique expressions of gratitude and the lessons you learned from being grateful.

For many of us, we define ourselves by what we do professionally. This can be good, but also detrimental if we lose focus on everything else that life has to offer. In this session, you will assess your life in 18 areas – career and 17 others – to get a sense of your LIFE/work balance. You will also go through exercises to prioritize some other areas and set goals in them too. Finally, you’ll leave with a personalized, color-coded bar chart that reflects your 18 areas, which can be an excellent source of motivation, inspiration, and validation.

These days, everyone is trying to do more in less time and a lack of skills and guidance in this area can cause stress. However, when you have a plan for your time management, and then execute it, you will feel a huge sense of relief AND you will get a lot more done than you ever have before. In this session, participants will assess themselves in 10 areas of Time Management and decide where they want to improve. You’ll also learn top tips gleaned from Time Management experts.
