Description

Artificial Intelligence has advanced faster in the past two years than any technology in recent memory—reshaping how we teach, learn, and create. In this hands-on, educator-focused session, you’ll explore the fundamentals of AI, from how large language models “think” to how these tools are already transforming lesson design, student engagement, assessment, and professional practice in schools.

Whether you’re brand new to AI or simply trying to catch up, you’ll gain a clear, practical understanding of what AI really is—and isn’t—and how it can help you save time, spark creativity, and personalize learning for every student.

This interactive, three-hour workshop blends insight with action. You’ll experiment with real classroom-ready AI tools, see live demonstrations tailored for teaching and learning, and learn practical ways to improve lesson planning, feedback, differentiation, and communication.

Just as important, we’ll explore the guardrails every school should have in place—ethical, legal, and instructional guidelines that help educators use AI safely, responsibly, and effectively.

Join us for a guided journey through the present and near future of AI in education, and leave ready to turn curiosity into confident, informed classroom practice.
