Speaker

Paige Reitz, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Proof Positive

Description

Applied Behavior Analysis is a powerful tool for behavior change—and it can also be a pathway to cultivating joy, meaning, and connection. This session invites you to explore how the science of Positive Psychology can enrich ABA practices to promote not just skill acquisition, but whole-person flourishing.

From embedding strengths-based strategies into programming to enhancing wellbeing for both clinicians and clients, this talk offers practical, evidence-informed tools that align with the work you’re already doing. We will dive into interventions grounded in gratitude, strength identification, and positive emotions and connection—approaches that can deepen therapeutic rapport, improve outcomes, and bring new energy to your practice.

Along the way, we will explore strategies to boost job satisfaction, reduce burnout, and reconnect with the “why” behind our work. Whether you’re designing treatment plans, leading teams, or shaping organizational culture, you’ll leave with fresh insights—and maybe even a few sparks of joy—for how ABA can be a science not just of behavior change, but of thriving.
