Speaker

Jennifer Ruane, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LPC, Melmark Pennsylvania, Endicott College

Description

Performance Management, a subdivision of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), is a science dedicated to changing employee behaviors (Daniels & Bailey, 2014). It encompasses evidence-based strategies such as performance feedback, staff training, and task clarification to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness. However, selecting the most appropriate intervention requires a clear understanding of behavioral functions and workplace dynamics.

This presentation will examine the behavioral science behind building and maintaining motivation in professional settings. Attendees will gain insights into how targeted assessments and practical, research-driven strategies can be applied to drive meaningful behavior change and ensure its long-term sustainability.
