WAKEFIELD — Executive Director Margie Daniels of the Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth (MPY) announces the details of an upcoming conference, Cutting Edge ADHD — Real World Evidence-Based Care.

This conference will feature leading experts in ADHD and executive functioning for a full day of evidence-based insights, practical strategies, and engaging discussions tailored to educators, mental health professionals, and caregivers working in local districts.

WHAT: 

A hybrid conference — Cutting Edge ADHD — Real World Evidence-Based Care — will be held on Monday, March 24, at Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School and via Zoom for those who wish to participate remotely. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

This conference brings together renowned clinicians to share their expertise in understanding and managing ADHD and related conditions. In this time of self-diagnosis, you will discover what ADHD actually means and how to identify and support it. You will also learn about the latest research on what works for students and classrooms, as well as practical and fun techniques for attention and behavior regulation in the classroom and beyond. At the end of the day, a panel discussion and question-and-answer session will be offered.

At MPY’s hybrid conference, speakers include:

  • Mark Bertin, M.D., PLLC, Developmental Pediatrician
  • Roberto Olivardia, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, Lecturer in Psychology, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School
  • Chris Willard, Psy.D., Clinical Psychologist, Faculty, Harvard Medical School

Department of Elementary and Secondary Education-approved Professional Development Points (PDPs) and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are offered at no additional cost to participants who attend this conference and who attend the April 1 conference, Building a Strong Foundation for School Mental Health.
