WAKEFIELD — Massachusetts Partnerships for Youth (MPY), led by Executive Director Margie Daniels, currently offers high-quality educational resources for professional development to 290 Massachusetts school districts and other entities.

MPY conferences, webinars and in-service workshops provide cutting-edge information and high-quality professional development to Massachusetts educators and public safety personnel. Led by experts, these trainings foster collaboration and endeavor to increase students’ health and safety.

MPY membership affords unlimited access to:

180 webinars
10-plus hybrid conferences
54 on-demand library presentations

The topics featured in MPY materials are always timely and extremely relevant, including but not limited to Mental/Behavioral Health; Anti-Racism (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion); School Safety; Social-Emotional Learning; Trauma-Sensitive Classrooms and Schools; Trainings for Paraprofessionals; Working with Newcomer Families; and Legal Educational Issues.

Staff from member districts can view MPY webinars and conferences in person or through a virtual link, which remains active for seven days following the training. This provides flexibility by allowing staff members to watch the recording at their convenience. Department of Elementary and Secondary Education-approved Professional Development Points (PDPs) and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are offered at no additional cost to staff from member districts.

An MPY membership also provides an In-Service Workshop Program to bring training to districts, either virtually or in person. MPY offers more than 100 workshops for staff and student assembly opportunities. MPY’s On-Demand Video library is available 24/7 for members.

“MPY offers a variety of professional development opportunities designed to enhance safe and supportive learning environments. These relevant and timely trainings help school districts and other entities improve their capacity to address behavioral and mental health needs and meet unique and varied student needs,” said Executive Director Daniels. “It is a pleasure to collaborate with so many educators and public safety leaders across Massachusetts as we begin the 2024-2025 school year.
